Significant buildings all around and in different tuff (stone) colours

Lots of photos opportunities and a must visit for architecture lovers or just soaking in the sun and watching cars and people pass by

Big open area with some tourists and even more locals

Interesting art work and the cascade/waterfall areas can be scaled by walking or via escalators on the sides hidden inside the massive structure

Cafes are somewhat catered to tourists judged by their value

Quite a few well behaved strays, mostly tagged (vaccinated and released), napping near people but there are signs saying not to feed them

Must visit along side Garni Temple and Garni Gorge for a perfect day trip from Yerevan

Stunning monastery built into a cliff/cave

Restoration is not the best but use your imagination!

The 9 steps up the temple are thigh high so beware

Do visit the roman bath below and check out the mosaic which has an interesting story about the artists and fish (ask your local guide!)
