Checked out East Tea Can in Mississauga for a birthday dinner. The food is amazing and getting their shareable platters makes this extremely reasonable while not compromising on taste or quality.
This place is always super packed so I suggest making a reservation so you don’t have to deal with long wait times.
I will mention that because of how busy it is the service is lacking. We often had to wait a very long time for simple requests like cutlery, hot sauce or even just help with opening the barbicans we ordered. Whenever the serve did arrive they were super pleasant but it took forever for them to arrive at the table and we had to flag down someone to send our server over multiple times. We had requested them to add a small candle to the kunafa we ordered as we were celebrating a birthday, they also ran out of birthday candles but did not do anything (such as writing happy birthday on the plate with some chocolate sauce even) to elevate the experience. This place is good but can be much better.

Had a great time here. The food was amazing and the service was so good too. Everything was just perfect. The staff, the food, the restaurant itself is just so pretty. The washroom sink is gorgeous 😂😍. You honestly wont regret trying this place. If you are in the area definitely try them out!!!
Way less Quantity compared to the price. I paid $18 for a large chicken on rice which is equal to SMALL CHICKEN ON RICE in Reality. Go to other shawarma restaurants i.e. original shawarma or Shawarma Kingdom, their Quantity and Quality both are great.
The service was excellent. You can not have a mix of shisha flavors at this place. Sofa chairs weren't comfortable. they needed to be replaced. I gave five stars for their staff, very friendly and quick service
I've been coming to this restaurant for years; nobody makes the swarmas so tasty. Now, my daughter is crazy about the chicken souvlaky. Always so good, never disappointed. Keep it up.
The best shawerma taste and crispy fried chicken so far , and for the first time in canada, i like a beef shawerma , i am a regular there.
Thanks alot ,yesterday I ordered Dolma and Kuba at 7am ,the answered my call directly ,and my food ready at exact time ,the Dolma was amazing the kuba,borak was woww,I give 6 stars ,the price was so affordable
I've been at this restaurant for many times especially Christmas, New year eve and Easter parties. We always receive an excellent services in terms of food, liquor and live music. We'll be there soon at star Reed Alsawas party and we hope to have similar experience as well. Not to mention, staff are very friendly and professional. I would highly recommend this restaurant
Great food, atmosphere, decor, and everything! I had their dip platter and their meat platter, and the everything was perfect! Service can be a biiiit slow if they're busy but that's understandable. It was a great experience and definitely would go again! Great decor inside too!
Location really matters. Go to the Burlington one near Brant Street, 100% better. This location claims montfort chicken is over cooked chicken with peppers and onions, what happened to the pineapples? The rice was watery and their potatoes were just overly deep fried with no flavour. Hummus tasted like store bought hummus and the salad was sour. Montfort salad is also very different than what we were served. The place was empty when we walked in, should have known better.

Love Sahara!! Went there once before and fell in love…. Just did my 30th birthday there and it was an amazing time 😍…. Can’t wait to go back soon!
Stunning interior! They made my friend's birthday extra special with songs and cake. Very good dishes and drinks. All the servers are so nice and sweet!
I was at Sahara last night and lose my credit card and drivers license. Came back tonight after the place had just closed, and a very kind man opened the door for me and helped me so much. He was able to find my card and license. Thank you so much to this person and Sahara. If it had been any other place I’m sure it would have been lost for good.

Found a new hidden gem. Meat is fresh and cooked at the right temperature. Great alternative to the big chains. Will return again for sure.
I recently dined at Sahara restaurant to celebrate my friend’s birthday. The service and hospitality were exceptional, especially from the staff attending to our tables. Despite their busy schedule, they efficiently managed all the orders.

My friends and I visited this shawarma restaurant to grab a quick bite before our volleyball game. We opted for the chicken shawarma platter. The food was amazing, the flavours balanced well and the sandwich was not too dry. The portion sizes were generous as well, ensuring we were all satisfied. What surprised me the most was the sandwich was perfectly made, and was not messy!
Beyond the food, the restaurant's decor added to the overall experience. The ambiance was inviting and made our meal even more enjoyable.
Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a quick bite to grab. Generous portions, fair priced, quick service, and plenty of seating. I’ll definitely visit again.

La comida es deliciosa, lo súper recomiendo. El mejor shawarma. El servicio es excelente.
This was the cleanest and most delicious Adeni food. WOW. The service was so quick, the meat was halal and SO SO tender. Then to end off our meal, the Gida (grandma/ mother) emerged from the kitchen with fresh Mamool cookies and they were the most buttery, light cookies. So delicious.

Buen producto, valor un poco elevado
Magnifico trato e incrible comida, estabamos de vacaciones por la zona y encontramos de suerte un magnifico lugar donde comer y sentirte como en casa. Ver como trabajan y como hacen tus pedidos en directo es maravilloso, si volvemos por alli sabemos que tenemos una segunda casa donde ir a comer. Mil gracias por hacer sentirse a la gente como en casa cuando va a comer.
Ha superado todas mis expectativas. Súper recomendable , la comida exquisita buen producto y buena elaboración, la atención es maravillosa y el ambiente es muy agradable.

Excelente! Durante mis vacaciones en Canadá decidí visitar este lugar ya que tenía muy buenas críticas, perfecta la atención al público, muy atentos en todo momento, muy limpio y cuidado, la comida es excelente, buen precio y sin duda es de los mejores lugares que he visitado últimamente para comer. Recomendable al 100%.
