Reseñas
This is a nice Indian restaurant near Rideau. I went there with a group, it was easy getting a reservation for a large group if booked beforehand. I had higher expectations from the Paneer Lababdar, and the Garlic naan was a bit raw. Mango Lasso was the best part of the meal. Probably it's the dish I ordered that I didn't like, will try some other dishes next time.
While napkins may not be the typical focus of a restaurant review, it's worth noting that attention to detail, including quality napkins, reflects the establishment's commitment to overall excellence. At this restaurant, the use of high-quality napkins adds a touch of sophistication, enhancing the overall dining experience and underscoring their dedication to providing a top-notch atmosphere.
The waiters are incredibly quiet and hard to hear, but that may be because they’re trying to respect the atmosphere. It is very calming here, the music sets the tone for people to speaking quietly, even when it is busy.
The servers are always circling the restaurant and always there to help with any questions or concerns. I’m very surprised on how meticulous they are when it comes to cleanliness. They sanitize the tables and chairs immediately when done.
Sadly, I think the high prices of the food is due to the napkins. In my opinion, it’s not any better than all the other restaurants serving similar foods, but they are significantly pricier.
The food definitely cooked with a lot of spices and it had nice aromas, but lacked salt, it was on the bland side for me. The Thali was interesting, wish the menu gave us a clearer detail on what it was. Most of the dishes was cooked in coconut milk and you quickly became sick of it.

I’ve been going here for years. The service is excellent and owners are very friendly. The food is great and reasonably priced for all that you get.
My stomach is full with the delicious biryani and okra veg curry. It was a bit oily but taste was nice. Loved the biryani specially. It had curd as well. Ordered first time from here and it didn’t disappoint us. Would like to dine there again and try different dishes. Give it a try.
I was very disappointed in the flavor of the food. It was very bland. I’ve never had poor tasting butter chicken in my life. The food used to be good but it has really changed. The naan bread is not warm and very dry. The drumstick is dry too.
It’s too bad that the food is no good. The service is fine.

Delicious indean food. Vig. Sambosa, Chicken Tikka Masala, and the Lamb Bryani are delicious. The service is so friendly. Definitely will come back.
The food was just okay, I have had better paneer makhni and chaat papdi before. Told them to make the paneer makhani spicy, and it was not spicy at all and definitely not worth $22. Chaat papdi for $13, and there was not much to it in terms of flavour or quantity, so seemed unreasonable to me.
Wonderfully flavorful curries, the best mango Lassi, nice helpful service in a great atmosphere with plenty of space! 👌

Went for the first time last night for dinner with my precious date and it was amazing. Food was very tasty and delicious and great service from Sharma. Food was authentic and very good portions. Highly recommend .. we had a butter chicken plate and Tika massala as shown in the photos. Highly recommend
A friend recommended this restaurant and I was not disappointed! The food was delicious and our server was amazing and made sure we were doing good the whole time we were there. One thing is can say is the portion sizes were a bit smaller than what u imagined, especially with the prices they charge but over all would def come back.
Great place to have authentic South Indian food! Their thali takes me back home. The food is flavourful and with appropriate spice level. I really liked the curries made with coconut milk. Thanks for bringing the authentic taste overseas 👏👏
Delicious food with decent quantity! From starters to main course everything cooked well and awesome flavour just like authentic Indian food. Welcoming staff.
My favourite Indian restaurant in Ottawa for 20 years or more. Always good food. Great staff. So happy they appear to have survived the past few years.
The atmosphere was great. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. We ordered mixed salad, raita, sweet lassi, papadum plate and vegetarian thali. The food took me back to my South Indian trip. The thali consisted of different curries, roasted coconut, rice, parantha and a dessert. The curries were full of flavor. The parantha was fluffy and soft. The staff was very friendly and professional. The thali size is small and one person can easily finish the whole thali. The place takes reservations only so if you're planning to visit, make sure to make reservations in advance as the place gets fully booked quickly.
Tres yum.

The interior is kinda small and nothing noteworthy in terms of decor and ambience. However, I consider this restaurant a hidden gem as the food was flavorful and reasonably priced for the generous portions. Lamb biryani was only $13.99 here compared to $18-23 that I usually pay at other Indian restaurants in Ottawa.
Minus a star for only offering single-use plastic cutlery and non reusable plates/bowls despite dining in.

No taste
This place is really lovely, it looks, smells, and feels very authentically Indian for sure, and I am saying this as a very high compliment to them.
It is conveniently located and had a definite, distinct charm and aura.
When you enter you are greeted exotically with colorful art, quiet background ambience, accommodating seating, and incredible service.
They go the extra mile to really serve you well.
We had some appetizers, which in themselves were quite excellent in quality and quantity, the onion bhaji (sp?) were great as was the prawn topped bread.. spicy and perfect. Their naan in fact is actually Incredible, and would make a fine meal of itself, that's my own opinion.
If you like naan, these guys rock!
We ordered a couple dishes which were delectable and quite savory. These people know how to really stay true to both sweet and spicy. The dishes were very palatable and we ordered extra basmati rice too. There are enough mild, medium, and hot dishes available.
We even sampled some different beers.
Cheetah brand is actually very fantastic and I highly recommend it. Tiger is good too, it was unfortunate they had run out of Kingfisher, but no worries.
There were ample wine selections too.
This restaurant has a good menu and something for everyone, if you like Indian. Tasty treats galore!
Their service, as stated prior, is top notch.
The complimentary watermelon mini bowl with grapes at the end was a cute touch, and the chocolate mint, after-dinner sticks.
Those little efforts mean a lot and go a long way.
We will tell our friends, and be sure to return!
If you like authentic Indian, these people will probably satisfy your cravings very well.
It was full when we went on Saturday night, and many people came in for take out.
It says a lot.
Certainly was peak hours.
See you guys again!
