I've been anticipating trying this place for months. We booked our table through OpenTable and were seated right next to the entrance door, which was letting in cold air due to the 3C temperature outside.
The disappointment arose when we noticed two empty tables—one of which we got which was right next to the entrance and another indoors. However, the staff mentioned someone else was waiting for the indoor table. While I didn't argue, it seemed perplexing given our earlier arrival.
Nonetheless, I appreciate the prompt relocation to the upstairs area, which they opened just in time. Our server, Ilyas, was exceptional and very helpful.
In terms of our order:
Burrata: 10/10 - Fresh and a must-try.
Shishitto Peppers: 5/10 - Lacked a wow factor, just okay.
Mafalde Ai Funghi: 10/10 - A must-try; made to perfection.
Spaghetti Alla Calabrese: 10/10
Pizza Funghi: 10/10
The true showstopper was the Tiramisu, undeniably one of the best I've had in Toronto. Anyone visiting Gusto 101 should definitely try the Tiramisu.
However, a drawback to our experience was the portion sizes. Despite being a party of six ordering seven dishes, the quantity felt more like a snack size. While I understand businesses aim for profit, this seemed disproportionate for the price paid. Management may need to address this to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat visits.
Overall, the experience was good.

We had beef carpaccio for appetizer, I think they forgot to squeeze lemon on top, missing the acidic taste on this dish. We also had kale salad, the dressing is really good, I would recommend this one. I had prosciutto pizza and my partner had pasta. Pasta was undercooked, he was a bit disappointed. The whole experience was nice for a date, but food wasn’t that impressive.
Un buen lugar para comer o cenar.
A delicious dining experience on a Friday night at Figo! The Zucchini Fritti was the perfect starter to our meal - light, airy, crunchy zucchini drizzled with a cream/honey sauce. The Rigatoni Alla Vodka was packed with flavour - perfectly cooked al dente texture paired with a bit of spice - SO GOOD! While we loved everything we ordered, we did find it a bit pricier than other Italian restaurants in the area. Nonetheless, this is such a great spot for Italian inspired dishes and drinks!
First off big thank you to Darth Vador.. I mean Evan! Great personality, went above and beyond, and just stayed super pleasant our entire time there.
We ordered a pasta and a pizza and the portions here are INSANE! You get your moneys worth here that’s for sure.
You can sit inside or in the patio/ outside dining area which we will do on our next visit.
I would highly recommend this place.

Absolutely delicious! Very authentic and the restaurant is gorgeous. I work right down the street and this is a perfect spot to have lunch or dinner. The fungi pasta was by far one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had.
Gusto never disappoints. Went here for our anniversary and the food is amazing. The pizza is so light, having the same texture of a pizza from Napoli, and it has a fun sweetness to it which makes it so unique and delicious. The pasta is also amazing. If you love mushrooms, I would definitely recommend that. Finally, you cannot leave this place without trying their tiramisu. It is unlike any others. I personally love it, but it is something everyone should try at least once. Thank you gusto, would highly recommend!!!
Imperdible: tomato brisquet, spaghetti a limone.
