While napkins may not be the typical focus of a restaurant review, it's worth noting that attention to detail, including quality napkins, reflects the establishment's commitment to overall excellence. The waiters are incredibly quiet and hard to hear, but that may be because they’re trying to respect the atmosphere. It is very calming here, the music sets the tone for people to speaking quietly, even when it is busy.
The servers are always circling the restaurant and always there to help with any questions or concerns. I’m very surprised on how meticulous they are when it comes to cleanliness. They sanitize the tables and chairs immediately when done.
Sadly, I think the high prices of the food is due to the napkins. In my opinion, it’s not any better than all the other restaurants serving similar foods, but they are significantly pricier.
The food definitely cooked with a lot of spices and it had nice aromas, but lacked salt, it was on the bland side for me. The Thali was interesting, wish the menu gave us a clearer detail on what it was. Most of the dishes was cooked in coconut milk and you quickly became sick of it.

This place was one of my faves in college and I just came back and ate here again and WOW. The chicken shawarma plate was phenomenal!!!! Garlic sauce is one of the best, I could eat it by the spoonful! The meat is perfectly cooked and all the other ingredients just add to the magic! 10/10 I'll be back here asap!
Fantastic restaurant, my favourite place to get schwarma with a generous portion of fresh cut steak fries, and some hummus made fresh everyday
I have eaten at many schwarma places. You do not see many reviews from me about these places. You'll notice I gave a five star to this place. From the moment I walked in, it was inviting, clean and wonderful atmosphere. The gentleman that was taking me order was absolutely accommodating, polite, and a pleasure. When we received our food it Was truly astounding. The flavors on the plate we're all fantastic. You can tell by the hub of people coming in and out that they all love this place. And I was even told by some in the line up that they love this place. I forgot to take pictures inside because I was so focused on the wonderful meal. But I will tell you the inside of this place is very nicely put together. Bathrooms were clean and plenty of free parking.

This was an excellent evening! We asked Raouf for recommendations and he did not steer us wrong! Everything was delicious. Will definitely have to come again. On top of the great food, his art is a gorgeous backdrop

Was in town visiting from Toronto and had to try this place. Portions were huge. My wife being vegetarian ordered the veg plate that was more salad and only came with 2 falafel that was not cooked all the way through. It was a lot of salad and the eggplant was cold. One issue I have is by piling on the food, you can't even get at the rice and also way too much garlic to be honest.
Amazing middle eastern eatery in the Glebe! Very friendly owner, who is actually also the artist of the beautiful paintings and decorations in this resto that makes you feel like you're in the Mediterranean.
Food is well priced and delicious, with vegetarian options. Highly recommend supporting this family business :)

Delicious tasting meals with generous portions. I thoroughly enjoyed my order.
Value for money place with the food which is really good. We ordered a chicken platter, a falafel sandwich and a diet Coke. The dishes were tasty, portion size was good, texture and tenderness of the meat (chicken) was near perfect. The place is a pocket friendly one as well.
Great place to have authentic South Indian food! Their thali takes me back home. The food is flavourful and with appropriate spice level. I really liked the curries made with coconut milk. Thanks for bringing the authentic taste overseas 👏👏

If you want to have a dinner that makes you feel like you’re at home, I highly recommend trying this restaurant. I really enjoyed the kafta and my friends were in love with the lentil soup. The owner is so so so friendly and kind and the ambiance was 10/10!!! Would definitely return for another delicious meal :)

The atmosphere was great. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. We ordered mixed salad, raita, sweet lassi, papadum plate and vegetarian thali. The food took me back to my South Indian trip. The thali consisted of different curries, roasted coconut, rice, parantha and a dessert.The curries were full of flavor. The parantha was fluffy and soft. The staff was very friendly and professional. The thali size is small and one person can easily finish the whole thali. The place takes reservations only so if you're planning to visit, make sure to make reservations in advance as the place gets fully booked quickly.
Amplio lugar con muchos pequeños negocios para compras de todo (tipo Market), y se puede pasar el rato disfrutando de la variedad de cosas que ofrecen al turismo.
La mejor zona para caminar, comer y comprar souvenirs, comida de todo tipo, fresca, los alimentos son elaborados en el día. Los vendedores son muy amables.

Me lo habían recomendado mucho, generé expectativas altas y no está mal pero no es lo máximo.
Esta bonito, hay cosas varias pero creo que lo que lo hace lucir son las calles y negocios aledaños, más que los propios del mercado.

Considero que es uno de los mejores restaurantes de Ottawa. Buena cocina, buen ambiente y un trato de primera.
El mejor shawarma que he probado, y un precio muy accesible, si tienes muchísima hambre, un shawarma es más que suficiente , sin embargo pienso que es ideal para 2 personas incluso para 3 personas está bien

Una delicia culinaria es el mercado Byward Meket, lleno de vida y suculentos platillos. Una parada obligada para todo mexicano debe de ser el pequeño local de comida mexicana corazón de maíz atendido por dos mexicanos de la Ciudad de México con excelente atención y calidad de los alimentos.

De que te quite el hambre , te la quita, buena opción para el paladar y el precio es bueno.

Las porciones son muy grandes y la comida es rica, la carne y el pollo con mucho sabor. Un plato mixto es suficiente para dos o hasta tres personas. Siempre hay gente por lo que no vayas si estás muy apurado.
Precios accesibles y la comida tiene buen sabor, siempre hay mucha gente así que no es un lugar para ir de rápido.
Los mejores shawarmas de canada... así de simple. Además las papas con ajo que vienen en el combo son deliciosas!
