This barrhaven location is an embarrassment to the other shawarma palaces. I’ve had rotten hummus before, old salade, potatoes not fully cooked and every time I ignored it. But this time, I specifically asked if the hummus was fresh and was told yes, low and behold it was old and sour. This is happened on multiple occasions but the the fact that I made sure to ask this time and was lied to sad. It’s things like these that make popular restaurants go bad. Won’t be coming to this location again

They have great food, definitely the best shawarma in Ottawa. Just be warned that they have no standard for how much to serve you. Sometimes you'll get very little meat, sometimes you'll get very little garlic sauce. Sometimes everything will be perfect. Don't even think about their mini donuts! They're the size of a nickel and cost more than a Tim Hortons donut!

I do not recommend getting the small chicken salad.
There is a deceiving photo on uber eats. That's why I chose it.

It is the tiniest container they have available.
I started laughing when I saw it.
For $11 it is a rip off.
Also the salad had only 1 tomato and it was full of cabbage and barely any lettuce.
I asked for no hummus and to get garlic on the side instead so I can eat with my chicken and of course my bag was empty.
Never ordering from here again.
