We had lunch mid week at AGO Bistro. We were seated upstairs with a view of the open kitchen. They had both a fixed menu and an a la carte menu. We chose the leek soup, perfect, my wife had the quiche. I had a 6 ounce steak perfectly grilled. Medium. We also each had a 5 ounce glass of wine. Finished with chocolate cake. The food is not inexpensive, but I would highly recommend this restaurant. The quality of the food definitely justifies the price. Our server was also wonderful. Everything came on time we were never rushed. Hope to go back soon !
Can't wait to return. The burger was so delicious
Atmosphere amd staff amazing. We had lunch right after Kaws event.

Enjoyed the food and atmosphere. My party ate mostly meat/fish and they were all very happy. I am vegetarian so they improvised for me and I had the dishes in the pictures, which were very tasty. Would return here.
Great place to grab brunch before visiting the AGO. I enjoyed the pancakes as they were not so sweet and full of flavors. Other menu items were cooked to perfection as well. The service was nice and very cute atmosphere with different colored chairs. Would come again!
This restaurant is situated on the 54th floor of the TD Bank Tower in downtown Toronto, offering guests a breathtaking view of the city skyline and Lake Ontario. The atmosphere is undeniably scenic, and a standout feature is the kitchen view, which allows diners to witness the culinary action.
While it's worth noting that the prices are on the higher side, the appetizers and desserts stand out as exceptional, adding to the overall dining experience. However, the main courses, especially the ribeye, were somewhat lacking in flavor and were served at our table quite cold, which was a noticeable downside.
In terms of service, our server left much to be desired in terms of quality. Nevertheless, the assistants went the extra mile to enhance our dining experience, ensuring our visit was not in vain.
One notable advantage is that the restaurant provides complimentary parking, which can be a significant perk in the heart of downtown Toronto.

We went and had the taste canoe experience, it was fantastic. Superb atmosphere with a great view of Toronto. The staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable we paid our meal with cocktails instead of wine and they made some excellent pairings. Last but not least the food plating was stunning and really brought and air of intrigue and beauty to some delicious meals. I would definitely recommend seeking out canoe for a great dinner experience
Yuugi is located downtown in Baldwin Village, with a casual vibe. The interior is minimalistic with white walls and wooden acccent. A small highlight, is that their washrooms have high tech toilets similar to those found in Japan. The staff here were also all very friendly and attentive.
This is a great spot to consider if you're downtown and looking for late eats, as they're open until 2 am, or if you're just craving some traditional Japanese bar food.
The menu here is tapas style meant for sharing, and the "sushi" served here are also all lightly torched, which makes them a good start for those who wish to try sushi but are not ready for the fully raw stuff.
What was ordered:
- Yuugi Sushi
- Saba Sushi
- Wagyu Sushi
- Chicken Wings
- Saba Yakimeshi
The wings were well seasoned and crispy, and I also liked the Yuugi Sushi. The Wagyu Sushi was ok in my opinion. The flavouring was good, but the quality of the beef didn't meet my standards. I personally didn't like the saba dishes too much because I found them a bit fishy and salty. However, the other two individuals I was with really enjoyed them, so it really depends on your taste preferences.

Excelente, lo mejor llega al final...los postres se salen del mapa.
Costoso pero no hay mucha diferencia de un ordinario sushi
