Nov. 24th 11:30pm 2023. Man with grey beard, shorter side of the height of a man, and nerdy nasally voice, charged my card twice, without telling me, and causes it to decline, which caused me denied entrance into the facility, while making inappropriate remarks, being disrespectful to a paying customer, and being straight up rude for no reason. He even yelled at the customer in front of me, I witnessed this man in such a short period of time but he was the most bitter person and disrespectful employee I have ever seen. Steamworks should be ashamed to hire such a nasty human being and treating everybody like they are all below him. He was bald also, so whoever matches that description, watch out for him.
What an experience. I came here years ago when I was going to a selena gomez concert and canadian arrist LIGHTS. Great staff who made myself and my friends feel very safe while there was some unsafe activities going on outside and inside the haus. Clearly this staff believe in harm reduction.
What a rare gem of a spot! Cheers babes.
No good my friend told me it was a spa place and you can rent suits,
I couldn't be more wrong
Is nice people but is no for me.
I was recently here and rented the most expensive room they had. I'm a CD so I done my makeup put on my wig and walked around in a g string just for the owner to tell me that I can't walk around like that like what? So somebody with long hair cant walk around or somebody with a g string on Can't walk around. What's the problem? Everybody else walks around naked, not impressed and will never go there again .
Our server was lovely however our group was being too loud and denied liquor service from the bar manager Nick. Most of us prior had at most 2 drinks and 1 of us was the designated driver. After a while of drinking water our waiter came back, I then ordered a flight of beer. 5 minutes later the manager Nick came back and said: “No you will not be receiving those drinks this evening”. I asked why he did not give a response. I feel that we were unfairly denied service. As per this review I am writing it perfectly coherent at steam works. I do not plan on returning and will ensure to inform friends and family of my poor experience here.
My husband and myself decided to check out the Steamworks in Vancouver because we have been to the Steamworks in Berkley CA and its a damn nice club. We decided while we were walking by to go in and ask some questions before we decided if we were going to go or not. The first person we encountered was PJ. PJ has the same initials as my husband, we had a laugh about that and let me tell you this man went way over and beyond to give us the information we wanted to know. He is super friendly and super funny and at the same you can tell he runs a tight ship. I would totally hang out with PJ as a friend, he just radiates good vibes.

later that night we encountered a guy and i feel bad I didn't get his name (slim white guy around 60) this guy is was a bit more serious, he had to help me a couple of times because of my poor eyesight. when we went to get our stuff and my partner handed him the key he asked why do you have this key? He actually remembered who had what key. Hell i cant even remember my locker number.

Impressive Staff
On 9/23th, after we disembarked from our Alaska cruise, we went checked out Steamworks. Around 11am, the staff, PJ, really helped us with all our questions so we came back around 4pm. PJ is is fun and friendly.
